The small plastic top to the shipping tube can be a choking risk to them.

Precautions

The risk of an allergic reaction
is present with all essential oils, including those used by Sacred Nest within our Aura Blends products. That being said, our blends are not likely to be problematic given the extremely low dosages found within our diffusers

In regards to pregnant/nursing
women and small children, we advise not to use essential oils or products containing them. Sacred Nest recommends that any individual with health concerns or taking prescription medications check with their doctor and refer to appropriate medical research literature for possible pharmacological interactions and contraindications, prior to using any essential oils.

We encourage you to use judgment and moderation when using Aura Blends diffusers. We do not recommend using excessively, rather a few very gentle breaths, a few times a day, is our recommended usage level. Furthermore, the diffusers are not
designed to be inhaled at all, and the proper usage is to breathe the blend into the mouth and then immediately out through the nose and mouth – not taking it into the lungs.

The main ingredients in Aura
Blends diffusers are high-grade vegetable glycerin and/or propylene glycol. Both ingredients are vaporized by millions of people daily. The following is information relevant to both of these ingredients.

Propylene glycol is a
clear, mostly odourless liquid that is a commonly used substance in many cosmetic and hygiene products and is also used as a food additive. It has a faintly sweet taste and can be found in products such as food dressings, soft drinks, food colouring and more. It is used commonly in E-Liquids, working as an emulsifier to keep the ingredients in the E-Liquid together.

Vegetable glycerine is
another clear syrup-like liquid that is typically made from soya beans, coconut, or palm oil. It is often used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. It is odourless and like propylene glycol it has a mildly sweet taste. It’s added to foods to help oil and water-based ingredients to mix or to prevent ice crystals from forming in frozen food. In pharmaceuticals, this can be found in heart medications, cough remedies and more. In E-Liquids, this is used as a thickening agent to the liquid – if an E-Liquid has more Vegetable glycerine (VG) in it, then it will produce more vapour and a more intense flavour.

The inhalation of heated essential
oils has been done for centuries, such as by adding them to boiling water over a fire.  However, they have not been heated and breathed using an electronic device until approximately 15 years ago, and thus there is no long-term experience with vapors of this nature. Again, we do not recommend breathing the blends into the lungs.

It is believed that extended
breathing of concentrated essential oils can be deleterious to your health. Please note that Aura Blend diffusers does not contain concentrated essential oils, but rather use dilute substances, and inhalation is not the proper method of use. If you are concerned about this, don’t use.

People with known upper respiratory illnesses or weaknesses, such as asthma or COPD, should not use Aura Blends Diffusers.

Potential Side Effects of Aura
Blends Diffusers

Aura Blends diffusers have been
used by over 10,000 happy customers and we are yet to receive a report of side effects. However for your reference we would like to draw attention to ‘dry mouth’, a reported side effect of inhaling vegetable glycerin/propylene glycol into the mouth, in devices similar to ours.

Dry mouth is usually a
result of inhaling the mist of

the vegetable glycerin base.  This is a common occurrence with all uses of VG vaporization. Many users find that this feeling of a dry mouth recedes on its own after a relatively short period of time, frequently measuring days or a couple of weeks.  For others, they find that drinking more water can be very effective.

Allergies can be caused by
many substances we interact with daily, including ingredients within our diffusers. One symptom of allergies is upper respiratory irritation. If you develop any upper respiratory irritation, you should discontinue using Aura Blends diffusers products immediately.

Please note that as the liquid in
the device is used up, the blend may begin to taste bitter or, even, stale. This is a clear
indication that the useful life of the product is over and that you should discontinue using that specific diffuser.

Vegetable Glycerin has frequently
been used as a suppository to prevent constipation.  You may find that you have a looser stool than usual when first starting with Aura Blends products or you may find a bit of nausea or an upset stomach.  In most instances this, like dry mouth, is transitory.

The cap to the shipping/storage tube is small and can be a choking hazard.

Sacred Nest Ltd cannot be held liable for any injuries or damages that occur from any such event, including from the
inhalation of the mist/vapours produced by Aura Blends diffusers.
